Alpha Industries x BUNNEY
'THE SPIRIT OF ADORNMENT'

Alpha Industries and London-based jewellery company BUNNEY present a reimagined version of the MA-1 bomber jacket – a timeless symbol of utility, rebellion, and identity. Now transformed into a collectible artefact, designed to be worn, kept, and passed on.

The Alpha Industries x BUNNEY MA-1 launches
on February 26, 2026 at alphaindustries.eu,
alphaindustries.com, alphaindustries.co.kr,
and alphaindustries.jp,

as well as in the Alpha Industries Stores in
Frankfurt and New York City, and through selected
global partners including Slam Jam (Europe),
Neighbour (Canada), and Tomorrowland (Japan).

Britain has been responsible for spawning some of the world's most iconic subcultures, and the MA-1 jacket would become known as a key London look through the 1980-90s, finding their way to new customers through vintage markets.

A recurrent theme to the BUNNEY collections is 'The Spirit of Adornment', informed by cultural elements from our past and an acute sensitivity for material and texture. Creating refined articles which clash with grittiness or nonconformity charge the pieces with a sophisticated tension.

The jacket features hand-made sterling silver hardware made by BUNNEY in the Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter. With Vintage Green flight nylon and stitching details lending each piece a distinct, timeless feel. Inside, a BUNNEY Grey‘ lining elevates the MA-1 into the realm of future heirloom.

Subcultures often inform the work of BUNNEY, and the idea of people carefully hand-decorating their jackets to create something unique and unconventionally beautiful is seen in this item.

Friends and colleagues of the brand were invited to create their own patches for the jacket, reflecting either themsleves or their company history. Names from across the globe include CASINOLA, the LA-based poker club; DoBeDo, the photography collective led by Tyrone Lebon; Team Ikuzawa, the legendary motorsport family; and industrial designer Eugene Whang. Further icons such as Maison Bertaux, Peter Hone and Tim & Barry appear alongside Mia Khalifa, Chaz Jankel, Simon Fujiwara and more.

The wish is that this piece be worn in a manner unique to each owner by adding patches and wear which leads to their becoming more precious and personal through time.
